Harry's hwk

Pick ONE of the following Narrative Structures (see Slideshow) and explain how it is fits into a film of your choice. Post your work on a new page titled 'Harry's HWK'.
a. Vladimir Propp (1928) ‘The Morphology of the Folk Tale’
b. Tsetvan Todorov
c. Syd Field's Paradigm
d. Christopher Vogler

Narrative structure is about two things: the content of a story and the form used to tell the story. Two common ways to describe these two parts of narrative structure are story and plot. Story refers to the raw materials of dramatic action as they might be described in chronological order.

I have picked Tsetvan Todorov structure to explain.

The Simpson's movie

The equilibrium in the Simpson's Movie is when Bart and Homer are playing dares and they are having fun and Bart ends up naked in the Krusty Burger window and Homer teases him about it.
The disruption is when everybody is dumping in the lake and it gets so polluted they make it so nobody can dump their rubbish. However, Homer is in a rush for donuts and dumps the rubbish in the lake. Then, a giant dome is put over the town. Everybody finds out it is Homer and they all chase after him but the family falls through a sink hole to the other side of the dome and they escape.
Homer and the family escape to Alaska and they decide to live there for a bit in peace and harmony.
However, the family decide to go back to Springfield and they leave homer behind who doesn't want to help the town.
The restored order is when Homer returns to Springfield and rides a motorcycle up the dome with bart and drops the bomb outside the dome and shatters the dome to pieces and order is restored.
The new equilibrium is when Springfield have restored their order and everybody gets back together to build the town back together.
Also Maggie says her first words at the end. "sequel!"
