initial task

My Magazine Article:

My film magazine will be focused on the next big anticipated films coming out in the near future. It will have a big movie star on the cover page appearing as his film character to catch the audience’s eye. One example might be the new upcoming avengers film which I will have one of the main stars on the front, catching the readers eye when viewing it. The purpose of this is to give the people a reason to buy and read the magazine to find out the insides on the film with exclusive information inside giving either details or interviews with either film directors or actors.

My target audience will be people aged 13+. The reason for this is there might be some explicit images (gunfire, blood, etc) that 12 years old and younger might not be able to view. Secondly, the reason there isn’t a maximum age is because film is also hugely viewed by adults and there are no restrictions for them when it comes to film.

My film magazine will sell in main brand shopping companies for even the regular person who isn’t into film pick up if intrigued and also all the film lovers out there. In addition, it will sell in film stores/cinemas which will most probably be the place where a high majority of my audience will buy it from due to the high attraction of film. However, I will not sell my magazines in low brand shopping companies due to the fact that it gives a bad look for the magazine as it presents it as a cheap, non-important magazine that will instead look like a regular magazine with pointless information inside. Furthermore, production costs for the magazine would not be high as there would be a budget set at an reasonable price.   

Furthermore, my magazine will consist of interviews, behind the scenes, promotions on films/brands, and information on the chosen film plus other minor films coming out in the future. The interview will be with either one of the main cast members or with one of the main directors/producers. This will provide exclusive information on the film that only I will sustain and no other magazine will have. The behind the scenes section will have pictures of the set and either the characters or the people behind the cameras (nothing to exclusive).  The promotion on films/brands will consist of discounts for cinema tickets (discounts for film tickets) and also deals from products (food, skin products, hair products, etc). Information on the films will consist of information that we know so far of the films (main and minor) and looking at their backstory/origin (past films).
